The class of 2024 in Michigan is loaded, with talented athletes from top to bottom. It makes our selection for High School Top Multi-Sport athlete even more impressive. A standout team MVP in football and basketball, Braylon Isom has been named our MET national award recipient. He’s known as a team leader with perseverance and dedication.
Shattering the MHSAA career receiving yards record with 3,830 yards and scoring 52 times, Braylon had a historic football career. He scored 26 touchdowns in 2023 alone, a state record. Although shortened only by injury, he also was presented with the MVP award after scoring 27 points in one basketball game for Saginaw Heritage. Braylon was also named the Player of the Year for the Saginaw region, Offensive Player of the Year by MLive and other sources, and awarded the Saginaw Heisman Harry Hawkins award. Named an All-American by the Blue-Grey Bowl committee, Braylon received the highest football honor.
Braylon represents our 3H model of High-performing, Humble, and having High character. He signed his NLI early and is preparing to attend Miami University in Ohio this summer. He has built great relationships with the coaching staff and is eager to arrive on campus. Braylon, we look forward to watching you play in college, and living out your football dreams!
